![]() ![]() Read our full Evernote review (opens in new tab). The Evernote Business plan includes the above but also comes with collaborative options and team administrative features. The Evernote Premium plan allows for integrations with Slack, Outlook, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce, as well as provides an AI for content suggestions such as similar content in other notes you've made, as well as content info from media sites. While there's a free plan with some limited features, there are also two paid plans, the Evernote Premium plan for individual users, and the Evernote Business plan for business. Recent additions include new tables and a Siri integration for those using the iOS edition. Other features include the ability to set reminders, present notes PowerPoint-style, and merge them together. Notes can be accessed on laptops, mobile devices and the web, so you're rarely left with a situation where you can't retrieve what you've saved. One of its best features for gathering research is the Web Clipper extension (supported in Chrome, Firefox and Safari), which lets you save entire webpages - including text, images and PDFs - with a single click. Evernote lets you create both simple and complex workflows using a combination of notebooks, notes and tags to keep everything organized. No list of best note-taking apps is complete without Evernote, which is one of the oldest and most fully-featured. The only thing we could wish for is better support channels. Furthermore, its transparency around security and reasonable pricing make it hard for us not to recommend it. Its long list of features should cover all parts of a typical business process from research and design to presentation, and its collaboration abilities are second to none. Many of these will serve well as project management tools, and anybody familiar with other project management software like Airtable or Trello will already be familiar with how they work. Some of its most commonly accessed templates include mind maps, Kanban boards, flowcharts, product roadmaps, and timelines. Setting one up from scratch can be daunting and time-consuming, which is why the company has designed templates that you can pick from the get-go. The majority of the work you’ll end up doing in Miro will revolve around what it calls boards, which start off as entirely blank spaces. It is best described as a multipurpose online collaboration tool, and its list of features is pretty extensive stretching beyond the typical realms of similar software. In addition to the core, Redmi Note 12 Turbo uses a 6.67-inch OLED straight screen with a resolution of 2400*1080, supports 120Hz high-refresh, 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, built-in 5000mAh battery, supports 67W fast charging, and a 64-megapixel main camera.Miro is one of those online tools that aims to bridge the gap between traditional office working and the modern hybrid routine that many of us are familiar with. Dear friends, remember to set the alarm clock. The official said that the 16GB+1TB version will be on sale again at 10 am on April 6. It is precisely because of this achievement that many users have not yet grabbed their hands. The small print description shows that this sales data has no time limit, which is the sum of the sales of all 16GB+1TB mobile phones in the mobile phone industry at present, and the results are very good. In addition, the machine also had an important mission when it was released – to popularize the super-large memory version.Īccording to Wang Hua’s record just released, the 16GB+1TB of the machine went on sale within 5 minutes, surpassing the sum of the historical sales volume of the entire industry. It took only 5 minutes for the sale to refresh the industry’s first full-day sales in 2023. Not long after the launch, the official convenience released the first sales report: it became the first sales champion of the whole brand in the 2K-3K price range of the three major e-commerce platforms. At 10 o’clock this morning, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, the world’s first second-generation Snapdragon 7+, was officially launched for the first time, with a starting price of 1999 yuan. ![]() ![]() ![]() Dyrus went top as Singed one game while Doublelift played Janna and Westrice took Vayne to the bottom lane. ![]() Throughout their time at the Season 1 Championship, EG experimented with swapping players from role-to-role. Jonathan "Westrice" Nguyen took over the top lane position with Corki, who at that time was more of an AD carry than anything else. It should be noted that in this same game, Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng played Poppy bottom and Dyrus, on Taric, joined him after his disconnect with Epik Gamer. Even jungle, which was arguably the most defined role, was heavily dependent on what champion a particular player wanted to play. This should give a good idea of what the competitive landscape was like in Season 1. After Dan Dinh died, then-Epik Gamer top laner Marcus "Dyrus" Hill said, "BRB can't see anything" according to caster David "Phreak" Turley, and disconnected from the game. In the first game of Team SoloMid versus Epik Gamer in the championship qualifiers - two of the supposed best teams at that time - TSM eschewed setting up jungler Brian "TheOddOne" Wyllie to jungle in favor of doing a five-man delayed invade onto Dan "Dan Dinh" Dinh's jungle Maokai pick at blue buff (he had already cleared wolves). Players frequently locked in champions not because of an overall team composition, but because they were simply good at them. Champions were more consistently flexed between positions, not because they were "flex picks" as we think of in the current state of the game, but because the in-game roles themselves weren't particularly defined. The open LoL competitive circuit consisted of a few ESL events and Intel Extreme Masters, with amateur tournaments like ESL's Go4LoL happening weekly and monthly.Īt the time of Riot's first-ever championship at summer DreamHack in 2011, the metagame wasn't nearly as defined as it became even a year later in 2012. ![]() There were no leagues - League of Legends' first league didn't come until 2012 with the Garena Premier League in Southeast Asia - South Korea didn't have a native server, and Riot Games weren't yet running their own events. It wasn't called a world championship at all and the game itself was in its competitive infancy. The League of Legends Season 1 Championship in 2011 wasn't planned as an event that was anything close to the scope of what we now know as worlds. Daniel Marklund/DreamHack Season 1: Welcome to the jungle Jump to: Season 1 | Season 2 | Season 3 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | 2019įnatic were the first champions crowned in League of Legends. With the 10th edition of the world championship beginning Friday, I took a look back on the nine previous world championships and analyzed the metas, from memorable to miserable, to see just how far the game and its players have come since Season 1. The game almost never looks the same at the start of the tournament as it does at the end, in part thanks to the ever-evolving metagame of League of Legends and the emergence of new strategies and compositions during worlds. ![]() There are two constants at the League of Legends World Championship: change and adaptation.Įvery year since 2011, players from around the world have gathered to compete, and every year, the event has had a different look and feel, both on Summoner's Rift and away from the screen. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It also brought media attention to the poverty issue and the divide between the have and have-nots here.Īlong with “banjiha” semi-basement homes, Guryong Village has somehow become a symbol of the Korean wealth divide, a place where real-life aspects of the dystopian Korean shows can be found. The Oscar-winning film “Parasite” did not just put Korean cinema in global spotlight. The dark tale of Netflix sensation “Squid Game,” for example, has 456 desperate Koreans putting their lives on the line for a chance to win a fortune in a criticism of inequality and brutal competition in today's Korea. The newfound interest in the Gangnam shantytown comes amid a global craze over Korean TV dramas and films which often share an element of social critique, depicting Korea as a society with a deepening economic polarization, injustices and other issues. The Seoul Housing & Communities Corp., the developer, offered public rental homes for the would-be evictees, but villagers rejected it, demanding they each be given a unit of the new apartment complexes that would be built there - each likely to be worth millions of dollars.Ī three-bedroom unit at Raemian Blestige, the apartment complex located just across the road from Guryong Village, was last traded at 3.1 billion won ($2.2 million) late last year. Last June, the city government approved a city-run housing developer’s plan to build 2,838 new homes there, some 1,107 of which will be allotted to low-income households. Now, about 600 people are still living there, with 454 households having been relocated as of last year.Īfter Gangnam property prices exploded, Guryong has drawn much attention as one of the last remaining plots of land for new home construction.īut any plan to develop Guryong has proved tough, due mainly to disputes over compensation for land owners and villagers. The residents of Guryong are mostly squatters who were evicted from illegal homes in the Gangnam area before a massive building boom turned the area into Seoul’s equivalent of Beverly Hills.Īt its peak, the village, which occupies some 320,000 square meters of land, had over 1,100 households. ![]() ![]() Séb knows where to find the good stuff, and he’s finished off the build with narrow stainless bars and risers supplied by Fork Co in Japan. There’s Brembo braking all round, with a four-pot caliper and floating rotor leading up front, and the Showa fork has been shortened a little to level out the stance. The flanged alloy rims are 21 inches at the front and 18 at the back, fitted with an Avon Speedmaster MK2 and a chunky Coker Diamond 4.50. Lucky Cat have chosen the wheel sizes to ramp up the chopper vibe without losing the ‘traditional custom’ flavor. On the left side is an unusual fiberglass saddlebag originally made by Buco for Cushman scooters it’s finished off with a painted race number, but also carries a Motone polished taillight and the license plate. Other mods include a shorty front fender from Lowbrow Customs and a modified ‘Cutlass’ café seat from Airtech Streamlining. Capacity is not the strong point, so there’s also a Mooneyes emergency tank holding just over a quart, nestled by the right-hand rear strut. Séb has nailed it by using a Harley KR750 flat track racer tank it’s around 60 years old, and resembles a typical Trackmaster tank. The hardest part of your typical Harley build is getting the top line low enough, because the engines are so tall. There’s also a Speed Merchant billet sprocket cover, with a custom chain protector, and the engine bolts have been upgraded to polished stainless items from Diamond Engineering. He’s ditched the belt drive and used a traditional 530 chain setup, via a conversion kit from Lowbrow. “It’s loud, but not too much for a street bike nowadays,” says Séb unconvincingly. The exhaust is a raw stainless steel 2-into-1 from the Californian company Bassani, with stepped headers and a reverse-cone megaphone muffler. Ancillary updates include a Dynatek 2000i single-fire ignition system and a Daytona oil pump (with reworked engine venting) to keep the engine running cool. Séb has also replaced all the fuel and oil lines with racing-spec Vibrant Performance black braided hoses, hooked up with black AN fittings. (“It’s genuine new- old-stock, mounted via a one-off Gasbox bracket.”) A Motogadget Speedster speedometer is hidden behind the air filter to keep it discreet. ![]() These are combined with ported heads and Buell M2 cams, with an S&S Super E carb sucking air from a classic and rare S&S ‘Two Throat’ air filter. He’s used a 1250 kit from Hammer Performance, with iron-lined, aluminum-finned cylinders and forged pistons. And the goal was to create the most torque possible: “For street bikes, that’s where the fun is-in our opinion!” says Séb. There’s a special graphite grey paint for the cases and polished covers, but the real work is inside. ![]() The iconic V-twin has been completely refurbished inside and out. The latest build to roll out of their workshop in Chartres, 90 km southwest of Paris, is this very classy 1994 Sportster called ‘Glamster.’ And yes, that’s a reference to the retro-styled Shoei lid: the top-flight Japanese helmet manufacturer helped to make this build happen.Īt first glance, Lucky Cat’s Sportster is a street bike with custom bodywork and a slightly tuned engine, but there’s a lot more going on under the hood. So he and Laurence have kept themselves busy spinning wrenches and spraying paint. The drag racing is on hold for the moment, for obvious reasons, but Séb has a solid background as a talented custom builder. Remember the Sultans of Sprint drag race series in Europe? The man behind this brilliant idea was Séb Lorentz, who runs the Lucky Cat Garage with his partner, the artist and restoration specialist Laurence Chatokhine. ![]() ![]() ![]() HoneyPad Make your iPad look like an Android Tablet. ![]() Gyro HD A uber-popular panel style theme. ![]() ![]() QUICK SHOP: Framed Mirrors & Wallboards. In the design, I used the orthographic view in almost all of this instructable. My laptop is a Samsung with Intel Core i3-2370M 2.40GHz processor, 4,00 GB RAM and Windows 7 Home Basic. I have to admit something: at least, it's a cool pen top! NOTES: I used the 123D Design 64bits for PC, version 1.1.41. Next time, I will design the helm aside and leave the hole in the board, clean separately and then assemble at the end. I worked half an hour designed the helm inside the cockpit and it was blown away in seconds on the waterjet. Be absolutelly careful, because a water stream in the wrong part can destroy parts of your project, or worst, all of it. So, I had to remove the support material using a waterjet. Cleaning: I made this project on an Object 3D printer. ![]() (Supposedly it was a joke, but I like the name. I had to print this jet with the cockpit open and somebody in the lab said "What did you print? Some kind of flying alligator?". Printing: When you print something with deployable parts (like the cockpit and the landing gear), the best is printing those parts wide open, for a better cleaning of the support material and for avoiding fusion between the mobile part and the jet.Invisible jet: I found an interesting trick when I was installing the landing gear into the jet: If you want to see through the airplane for verifying the right position of the axle and you don't want to use "Materials & Outlines" in your Navigation Bar, go to "Material" in the Main Toolbar and turn the jet into glass (something like Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet). The back landing gear didn't resist so well after the fifth handling. I made this jet thinking in accommodate one action figure, but I had to print it in a smaller scale. The axles have to be thick enough for resist the movement without breaking, regardless of the scale of your project when you print it. Axles size: Be careful when you design the mobile parts.(NOTE: In some pictures of this instructable you will see I'm working in one half, then I switch to the entire jet, then I switch back again to the half view, just for checking how it's working) If I had known this when I made the Transformer, I had ended it in half of the time, with more details and less "goboteness". Select the half you made and then select the line. Make half of the jet in one side of the line. But It was a very educational experience. I have to be honest: the final result didn't fulfill my expectatives. In case of failure of the mobile parts, the result had to be awesome enough for justifying the printing. The idea was to explore how to make a few mobile parts (in this case, the cockpit and the landing gear) already assambled to the 3D printed object. So, I decided to try making a concept jet fighter. I'm still astonished by the unlimited possibilities in this matter. ![]() You know, I'm still a rookie in this CAD and 3D printing thing and I'm learning by myself most of the time. My answer was "WHAT? YOU CAN PRINT STUFF ALREADY ASSEMBLED? Wooooooooooow.". Seven weeks ago, when I finished my first 3D printed project (the Transformers/GoBots unintentional crossover), Eric told me "Good job! Have you tried to printed it already assembled?", or something like that. ![]() |
